My goal was to read and explain everyday time problems.
I learnt how to tell the time.
- Every number or dot shows 5 minutes
- When the big hand is on the 3 it is 15 minutes past.
- When the big hand is on the 6 it is 30 minutes past, which is the same as half past.
- When the big hand is on the 9 it is 45 minutes past.
I learnt about measuring time - time relationships
- 2 hours = 120 minutes
- 1/4 hour = 15 minutes
- 6 hours = 360 minutes
- 1 hour = 3600 seconds
- 1/2 hour = 1800 seconds
I am feeling quite confident in telling the time.
